install SSL - HostGator Please note that a SSL install requires an IP change, your computer might show the site as down as it will be remembering the old IP. Please keep in mind that this will go away in a few hours and will only affect you. Please email support for instructions on how to manually cause Windows to refresh its internal cache of DNS entries if you would like to try to speed that up.
In order to install an SSL certificate you have purchased elsewhere we will need you to fill out the following form to generate a CSR (Certificate Signing Request).
CSR FORM
Once you get the CSR you can take it to your SSL issuer and have them re-issue the SSL so that it will work on our servers. Reply back with the new SSL and we will be able to install it for you.
**Wildcard and Multi Domain SSL installations will require additional admin fees dependent on the amount of domains configured. Please email salesforms@hostgatorsales.com if a Wildcard or Multi domain installation is required.
NOTE: SSL Installations are FREE for all Managed Dedicated Server owners.
